Sand Dollar Kiunga 4 Day Package
Day 1
Flying from Nairobi into the southern point of Kiunga Marine Reserve you will be met at the airstrip by the expedition leader and will drive north through the remote and wild Dodori Reserve.
Backup dhow will collect you and transport you to your first night camp on one of the many picturesque and uninhabited islands.
Day 2
Start paddling after breakfast depending (time depend on the tide), stopover for snorkeling and fishing on reefs and lunch break on one of the islands. After lunch you paddle towards the next camp. There is cold wine, beer, soft drinks and some bitings during sunset and dinner time.
Day 3
The same activities as day 2 but include visiting old ruins and turtle hatching site.
Day 4
Relaxing in the morning, snorkeling, lunch break and fishing in the afternoon.
Day 5
Departing Kiwayu airstrip at 3:00PM

Includes meals, camping and snorkeling equipment. A good oppurtunity for those who want to spend a night at the natural beach. Beautiful experience!

Full Day Guided Tour – 8:30 AM – 5 PM
Include pack lunch and drinks. Cross over to Manda Island in your Kayak, enter Takwa mangrove creek, pass coral rock excavators and arrive at Takwa Ruins. Enjoy a picnic lunch on Manda beach.

Route will alternate to suite high tides.
Half Day Guided Tour – 8:30 AM – 12 PM
Depart from Talking Trees, paddle alongside the Shela – Lamu walkway and extend past Lamu town, pull up onto the beach of Lamu village and take a guided walk through the village. Paddle back past Lamu and alongside the walkway to Talking Trees beach.

Sunset Paddle 5 PM – 7 MP
Depart from Talking Trees beach and take a leisurely paddle along the Lamu waterfront whilst the sun is setting. View the sunset at the shela beach.
